Two more people are now in custody related to a theft at London's Heathrow Airport where 21 people sustained injuries by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to police.
A man, 24, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals are still being held, the force said.
The arrests follow a probe into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a car park lift.
A toddler aged three was among the those hurt in the event. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.
Police arrested a 31-year-old man for suspected theft and assault close to the location. He has since been released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.
Police were alerted at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding a number of people injured by a noxious substance thought to be an irritant spray.
The assault - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not considered an act of terror - caused delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
